The Greater Rogersville region is situated partly in Kent County and partly in Northumberland County. The region is accessible through the routes 126, 440 and 480. The region is situated approximately 35 kilometers south of the city of Miranichi, 100 kilometers north of the city of Moncton and 35 kilometers from Kouchibouguac National Park.
 
The Greater Rogersville region has a population of approximately 3500 and the service hub of this region is the Village of Rogersville with a population of 1165. The region has a great variety of businesses in order to answer to the needs of the community.
 
The Greater Rogersville Region is known for its dynamic community, regrouping several associations and clubs, events and festivals. Also, the region is home to two monasteries and the Acadian National Monument, the only one in l’Acadie situated at the centre of the Village of Rogersville.

The exercise classes for seniors are becoming very popular, seniors looking for places where they could benefit from programs. There is a possibility that the sessions for seniors could be given at the "club d’âge d’or".
 
 
10-10-10 The program has begun, more than 40 participants are enrolled in the program. 10-10-10 The program aims to promote healthy eating, weight loss and the importance of exercise. For those unfamiliar with the acronym 10-10-10, here: $ 10 to participate, to lose 10 pounds in 10 weeks.
 
 
The program Mango mania among young people is still popular, the challenge for January was to encourage students to be active and exercise for at least 30 minutes per day. This was the class to which Jeanne Bourque won the challenge. The next challenge will be held from 22-26 March and is on healty foods for snack.
 

 
Renee Frennette, dietitian says it will have a health forum in Rogersville March 18. Maxine Caissie and Dr. Blanchard will be present at this meeting.
 
 
The municipality has received a request from citizens about signs for the promotion of physical activity. Small signs with the distance of the streets could be placed at the beginning of streets so that people know the distance they walk.
