MUNICIPAL COUNCIL:
 
Since its incorporation on November 9th 1966, the municipal councils of the Village of Rogersville have worked throughout the years to improve the services offered to the citizens in the optics of improving their lifestyle. The Village of Rogersville is the first village in New Brunswick to elect a municipal council entirely composed of women and the biggest municipality in Canada to do the same.

VISION AND MISSION:
 
The municipal council of the Village of Rogersville established this vision and mission for the village.
 
VISION:
The Village of Rogersville is known for its great quality of life and a place where it’s nice to live.
MISSION:
The municipal council of the Village of Rogersville has for a mission to encourage a sustainable development including social, economic and environment in its goal for the village. We want to promote the wellness of our residents and those of those who come and visit.

LE MANDATE:
 
The council would like to accomplish its mission while assuming this mandate.
 
 
Encourage economic development :
Attract new businesses..
Encourage the development of the existing businesses.
Maintain and increase the level of our population.
 
 
Encourage tourism development:
Develop and update a web site.
Help the existing tourism attraction in the municipality
 
 
Maintain our Roads:
 
 
Manage the Environment:
Maintain the sewer system.
Manage solid waste.
Maintain esthetic around the village and encourage any improvements.
 
 
To Ensure Recreational Services:
 
 
To Supplement the Development of the Municipal Plan:
 
 
To Continue To Offer Adequate Safety Services:
Police protection services.
Fire-protection (firemen).
Ambulance Services Municipal Emergency Planl.
